Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream - Review -

Hi!

I have a little review for you guys!
I (accidentally) hauled some Korean skincare products again♥

So today I'm reviewing Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream!

I was supposed to buy a new eye cream, but got distracted and bought this instead. I had earlier received some samples of this product and was so sold. I have been eyeing these like two years, until now finally bought it! image

So, to the review:

There is very little info available in the official site:
Skin Type FOR ALL SKIN TYPES
Skin Concern DRY SKIN
Volume/Size 80ml
It promises to give you a sleek, resilient, dewy and moisturized skin.
From somewhere else I read that this has exfoliating properties too.

Ingredients (from Amazon):
Water, Glycerin, Cyclomethicone, Sodium Polyacrylate, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Propolis Extract, Honey Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, Soluble Collagen, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Allantoin, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Palmitic Acid, Sorbitol, Malic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Trideceth-6, Methylparaben, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Fragrance, Sodium Polyacrylate, Disodium EDTA, Yellow 5, Yellow 6

According to cosdna, this seems to have some irritants. In addition to moisturizers, the good things this contains are some antioxidants and anti-inflammatory substances.
Cool, but what on earth is Royal Jelly?

Look at the packaging, isn't it so cute?image
Container it's sturdy, hard plastic, shaped as an adorable red apple.

Although I knew that the cream was 80 ml, it still was bigger than I expected!
Once the container is empty, it will serve as a cute storage box for something small,
I will maybe put my rings there.

Product comes with a tiny spatula:

Altough I like the packaging, it's both a pro and a con. I mean, it's not very practical.
As a practical person, I would like my skin care products to be practical too. See why?

Under the lid you can find thin piece of plastic as an inner lid, which is not enough to keep product for leaking. When I got mine, the product was well sealed outside, but the cream had leaked past the inner lid.... So, I doubt that I can't just toss this into luggage and go. Eventhough the package is cute, a squeeze tube, a pump or something would have been better. The spatula isn't very practical either, but it's still more hygienic than putting your fingers in the cream. I wash the spatula with soap after every use, but I know that would be too much hassle for some people.

And to the cream itself:

I absolutely love the scent of this product! image
I admit that the scent is one of the strongest points of this product. The scent is like fresh juicy apples, with a hint of honey, it's soooooo lovely. The scent doesn't give an artificial feeling, it's just so natural and delicious.

Only a tiny amount of cream is needed for the whole face. The cream is more like gel, easy to spread, sticky at first but absorbs well. This does ok job with moisturizing and doesn't break me up. Why I like this so much - scent aside - is because this calms my skin and reduces pimples. I guess it's because of the honey in the product, since honey is antibacterial, or maybe it's because of the other anti-inflammatory ingredients. My skin seems less irritated and just simply looks better, smooth and plump. This has worked wonders for my under eye wrinkles and dark circles,
I don't look so zombie anymore.

 Final verdict:imageimageimageimageimage
I absolutely love the product, it really works wonders, and I would probably even buy again,
even though the container is a bit problematic.

bye!★

Purchases from Tokyo

I personally like reading shopping hauls of other people,
but if these aren't your thing you can just skip the following~

Starting with little things I bought in Harajuku:

Nail stickers are from Wego and the lunch box is Swimmer,
the accessories from some random stores

Lace under shorts.
I already had one shorts, but these were longer and better material ♥

Cute socks from the same shop as the shorts

Lace panel shirt
(which looks better when weared :"""D I should post a picture sometime)

Manga is so cheap in Japan, a new book cost like 400 yen (3 euros),
and in Book-off you can find secondhand manga for 100 yen (75 cents). A big difference compared to what you have to pay in Finland.
But of course these prices are for manga in Japanese.

Hirunaka no ryusei 2-4. These series are one of my favourites, so much doki-doki!!♥
and Arisa 1, mystery shoujo by Natsumi Ando

My purchases from Matsumoto Kiyoshi:

Sweet Sweet Make Up Base Brush On Bright CC - 01 Light
Rosette Cleaning Foam Acne Clear
Ettusais BB Mineral white #10
Creer Beaute Sailor Moon Stick Liquid Eyeliner (Black)

The color of Ettusais Mineral White BB is so perfect♥
It's a great bb, gives you that "your skin, but better"-look, the finish is very nice. It stays on relatively well too, but a miracle is needed to keep makeup staying fully on my face...

What I got playing gachapon:

My Melody and lovely Yuu from Magical Angel Creamy Mami ♥♥♥

Sailor moon strap

I got Makoto at the first attempt!!!!♥

Second hand clothes from Shimokitazawa:

Ignore the fact that my shoes doesn't match with the dress

Only magazine I bought:

When I start, there is no end of cd hauling.
I had to restrain myself and so I bought only following 12:

Billy: Babies, Good bye
 William
Marigold
Hana shounen baddies: Breed
Guniw Tools: Dazzle
Pierrot: Finale

I'm so happy that I finally got the albums of Billy and Baddies that were missing from my collection ;___; Those guys really have developed as time has passed ;___;
Oh I love them so much~~

Gazette: Dainihon itan geishateki noumiso gyaku kaiten zekkyou ongenshuu
Madara
Disorder
Kagrra,: San
Buck-tick: Taboo
Kat-tun: Queen of pirates

Most of these are from Pure sound and Book-off.
It was like circle closing when I get my hands on Madara, because Ruder and Anata no tame no kono inochi have been one of my favourite songs for so long♥

Oh but even though I bought this many cds I didn't spend too much money.
The cheapest one was 100 yen (0,75e), whilst the most expensive one was about 2300 yen (17e).

I could have bought even more but well...
I'm crying especially after those cheap cds of Kat-tun which I left in Book-off ;__;

~

That was that.
In conclusion, there was so much interesting things and I could have bought so much more stuff, but just didn't need all of them...
Still, a bitter advice: when in Tokyo, shop in a way that you don't have to regret that you didn't!

bye!★

Up Down, To and Fro

Hello~

It's autumn all of sudden!
I have been too busy with school and haven't really been able to enjoy it.

One night I went for a walk and walked until my legs were killing me...
it was a pretty night, so it was worth it.

~☆~

I want to share these two products

Avène Cleanance Lotion Toner & Eucerin DermoPurifier Hydrating Care

I have been using these for a few months and I'm so sold!

Avène Lotion Toner is a biphasic toner, it shows poorly in pictures, because bottle got shaken. Let to settle down, the two phases, the liquid one above and powdery white sediment in the bottom can be seen. Before using, remember to shake the bottle to mix the two phases!
This toner is for oily, blemish-prone skin (like mine), and it promises to be purifying and matifying, plus hypoallergenic and non comedogene. It contains "absorbing powders" (silica?) to regulate excess production of oil.

And this stuff is amazing. I use this twice a day. If I have an arising pimple, I just sweep it with this. It will calm down and never show signs of worsening. I sweep my back too with this, it really helps and I don't have to do anything else. The scent is mild and pleasant, after using this skin feels clean and less oily. The breakouts have decreased too!

I really can't come up with cons.
For some reason I can't find the exact product in Finnish pharmacy sites anymore, but there is a new product, Cleanance MAT Mattifying Lotion, which contains mainly the same ingredients.

~

And to the another product.
I have tried a few products from Eucerin and their DermoPurifier line. The toner is quite good too, and I'm currently using the cleanser of the line.
The DermoPurifier Hydrating Care is for oily, blemish-prone skin. This emulsion promises to mattify and visibly refine the skin’s appearance with regular use. It contains soothing Licorice extract, antibacterial Decandiol and sebum-regulating Carnitine.

I use this daily as make-up base. I clearly can see how redness, oiliness, irritation and pimples have decreased. The moisturizing properties aren't that amazing, but good still. The smell is little funny, not bad nevertheless since it's mild and will fade away.
There is also a version of this with SPF30. The con is the price, it's nearly 20 euros for the tiny bottle. But on the other hand, product is long lasting and really worth of the price!

I bought both at local pharmacy.
Even though I love the products, I'm not saying that my skin problems are completely cured now. Not at all, since my skin is still oily etc. Anyway, these have been such saviors for my skin.
It's much more clean, less red and less oily. Highly recommending these!
I don't think anyone deserves bad skin!
except for my worst enemies muahahaha

~☆~

My mirror is dusty and I had two good hair days:

I thought that since school was starting I would have to have hygienic hands again in upcoming practical training. So I waited 1,5 months, for nothing, until I dared to do my nail.
What a waste of time.ヾ(`ε´)ノ

Next time I will be posting will probably be after my Japan trip.
It will maybe take some time because of the exams I have, but I will try to post about it as soon as possible.
Eek I can't wait, it's only 15 days!!!image
I'm little nervous because I haven't traveled that much, but I hope everything goes well~

Ps. I'm looking for new blogs to read!
Unfortunately so many blogs I have been following have became inactive....
Any recommendations? Drop a comment!
 ~Etsin uusia blogeja luettavaksi!~

bye!★

Kids Who Wanted To Fly In The Sky

Hello~

First things first:

Those who follow me in Instagram might already know
about how one of my biggest dreams is finally coming true;

I'm going to Japan!!!

It's only about 40 days left until trip!! I'm so excited!!!!
I have so much plans, but because the time is limited, I will be content with implementing only a tiny portion of them. I won't see the cherry blossoms but maybe some beautiful fall colors.
I just simply can't wait!!!
The trip is between my exams but really, who cares about exams, yolo!!

Once again, I bought some skin care stuff...

Mizon Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule - with the package

Mizon Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule and yeah, it contains snail mucus, 80% of the ampoule is snail secretion filtrate, which is quite awesome. I never thought that I would buy products with snail mucus, but well, good reviews led me again...
I have suffered from acne for a long time. Currently my skin condition is better than ever, but redness and vestiges have remained. I bought this to help my skin to regenerate. This also claims to be moisturizing, nutritious and to improve the elasticity of skin.

Mizon Snail Recovery Gel

I bought Mizon Snail recovery Gel to complement the routine with the Mizon Ampoule. The snail line of Mizon contains six different products from cream to bb cream. I picked these two because of the best reviews.

Both products have no special smell - so you don't have to be afraid of "snail smell". :D Both ampoule and gel absorb very well and won't leave your face unpleasantly sticky, just a bit.

So far I haven't noticed any miraculous changes, since I have been using this only a few days. But I think my skin feels more hydrated and maybe looks more even, nevertheless.

And the samples I received, haven't tried them yet.

I have been trying to look for a good makeup remover for my waterproof mascara. Only by reading reviews I wasn't sure what would really be good; I didn't want to waste money on bad stuff while trying to find a both gentle and effective makeup remover. It's important to not to scrub your thin and delicate eye skin, so a gentle remover would be a must. This far I have been using mostly Eucerin Dermatoclean Gentle Cleansing Milk.

Searching for makeup removers, I came across the idea of removing makeup with oil - baby oil, olive oil, almond oil etc etc! So I went to a grocery store and grabbed a jar of coconut oil:

The oil has really mild smell. I put a little amount of oil in two wet cotton pads, placed them on my eyes, let it be for a while and it clean my mascara up with little effort. Only a little amount is needed to remove the mascara, so the jar will last long. I haven't tried to remove my entire makeup with coconut oil, because I'm afraid of my pores getting clogged... By the way, mascara I'm using is False Lash Effect waterproof By MaxFactor.

According to various sources on internet, coconut oil is a beauty multitasker. In addition to makeup removing, you can use it as eye cream, body moisturizer, hair treatment, teeth whitener and so forth. It's also antibacterial, anti-aging and what's best: all natural.

I tried to use it to calm my scalp (I don't know what's wrong with it, my scalp is very sensitive and it's itchy and gets oily easily... :/ gotta change my shampoo maybe ), and it helped a little. At the same time I applied it on my hair and left it on for a couple of hours, then washed it away. It made my hair a bit glossier.
Coconut oil is very good body moisturizer, but after applying, skin is oily for a long time...
I tried to whiten my teeth with it but couldn't keep it in my mouth because I started to sneeze. :D It also felt somehow uncomfortable?
I personally would use coconut oil in cooking, because even though it's vegetable oil it contains satured fat, which will clog your arteries - so, don't eat it!!

I love coconut flavor by the way♥

Let's continue:

Etude House Stay Up Foundation Ivory

My first foundation ever, I have came this far only using bb creams! It's Etude House Stay Up Foundation, the Ivory option. The bottle was surprisingly small, only 25g. The color was perfect (pale with yellow undertones), SPF of 30 is nice and cover was ok. The finish was smooth and perfect at first, but started to look bad after a couple of hours, this didn't stay on my face very well -___- I think I still can use this, but since I'm not a fan, I won't repurchase.

Some recent outfits:

By the way, I made some changes in my blog - header, background, layout and stuff.
What do you think?
Even though I was fond of my earlier header, I felt that it was time to change it. My profile pic was also like 6 years old. :'''D

What else?

MUSTIKOITA! I really like picking berries♥

This was so interesting but I couldn't get in, since the hut was related to a guest I hadn't started.... Soooo disappointing!

Online bookstore thought that it's not good for me to read manga,
so they sent me books about Swedish culture and war instead.

Oh and Dragon Ball is life.

bye!★
